NEAL CANNON was born in Texas. He grew up in Houston, Texas, and returned there after completing law school. He and his wife, Linda, attend Chapelwood United Methodist Church; and his hobbies include cooking, sailing and whitewater rafting.

Neal Cannon is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. He began the practice of law as an associate with the firm of Thompson & Hippard, where he worked closely with the outstanding trial lawyer, James J. Hippard. He was made a partner in the firm of Thompson, Hippard, Tinsley & Cannon before he left to open his own law office.
Mr. Cannon is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
